Campaign: Making waves at the world’s biggest digital media event
Brief
- Leverage BT Media & Broadcast’s (BTMB) participation in NAB, the world’s largest digital media industry event, to establish BTMB as a thought leader and technology innovator.
Approach
- Worked closely with BTMB executives to develop messaging for show demos and presentations, including extensive media training
- Developed and distributed direct mail pieces leading up to the event to generate booth traffic
- Created online banner advertisements on BTMB’s website to generate booth traffic and media/analyst interest
- Developed content for BTMB’s newsletters, Focus Americas and The Hub
- Provided event support, including collateral printing, logistics and on-site booth support
- Coordinated production of event giveaways
Results
- Increased BTMB’s visibility at NAB through press releases and case studies
- Developed five press releases pre, during and post show
- Drafted three case studies leading up to the event
- Secured and hosted 16 media/analyst briefings at the event
- Secured speaking slot for BTMB’s general manager
- Generated 20 pieces of press coverage, including a cover story in Satellite Business Solutions
- BTMB web traffic increased by 25% during and post NAB
