This is the only time you’ll ever see me writing about anything having to do with…this person…who shall remain nameless. Like Voldemort. Or Suaron. But for this brilliant software I just found that helps keep Lord Voldemort nameless, I shall make an exception.

Of course, you would have to be living under a rock to have not heard about the wildly perverse drama surrounding the divorce, after just 72 days of marriage, of she-who-shall-not-be-named.

Amidst the PR fallout, many have begun calling Her a complete fake. That the marriage was engineered to make her money. Truthfully, I’m not usually  much for conspiracy theories, but I am starting to lean towards believing this one.

Which is why I was super psyched to learn about Dash Out, The Kardashian Blocker, courtesy of, who I can only imagine, are the incredibly awesome people at Free Art & Technology. According the Dash Out website:

“In a time where many wish to marry out of love but can’t because of how others feel about the sanctity of it all, we have celebrity Kim Kardashian to thank for showing us how great celebrity life can be… gorgeous ceremony, romantic honeymoon, million dollar licensing fees, and everything in between.

As the masses drool over her over-produced reality, for others, ignorance can be a true bliss with a little help from the Dash-Out browser blockers.”

Basically, it just installs a small extension in your Web browser (works for Firefox and Chrome) that automatically whites out any mention of she-who-shall-not-be-named’s name.

Normally I’m not one for technology that would enable censorship. But again, I am making an exception for this one.

I downloaded it. It works. It’s brilliant. You should download it, too.
