How are you holding up in your March Madness bracket? Me – not so good. I took a turn for the worst over the weekend, jumping from first to second to last.
But I’m not giving up hope just yet!
I was reading an interesting article on Mashable over the weekend on how March Madness has become increasingly social this year through live streaming and mobile apps. This enables fans to stay connected to the games and their standings while on the go or simply just away from their TV.

Here are a few ways you can stay on top of the madness:
- Social Arena – NCAA and Coke Zero collaborated to create this online feed, which delivers Twitter and Facebook updates about your favorite teams
- March Madness On Demand for iPhone and iPad – Live streaming video of every game so you’ll never miss a play
- March Madness Twitter Handle
- New York Times blog, The Quad
How are you catching the action this March? Do you consider social media to be a slam dunk in attracting the widest audience possible? Or do you prefer good, old-fashioned television to watch the games?
