Notice anything new in your morning routine today? I sure did – the revamped logo on my iced latte from Starbucks.

Danielle’s blog post from January discusses the Starbucks Makeover, a celebratory campaign to promote their 40th anniversary. As she stated, Starbucks is one of the most well-known companies in the world and they felt that they could remove their name from the logo.

I also noticed a few more changes to my favorite Boston Starbucks on Cambridge Street – an upgraded menu (Tribute blend, new treats), new signage and new promotion offerings.

Will you celebrate with Starbucks this month? Do you like the new look and feel of your cup?

Happy 40th, Starbucks! I sure am glad your stores are offering promos and giveaways rather than tacky “Over the Hill” balloons and party favors.
