Enterprise 2.0 Conference

What’s all the buzz in Boston this week?  The Enterprise 2.0 Conference at the Westin Waterfront of course!

As a tech PR professional, Enterprise 2.0 is a term that I come across quite often.  It refers to the technologies and business practices that liberate the workforce from the constraints of legacy communication and productivity tools, like email.

The Enterprise 2.0 Conference takes a strategic perspective, emphasizing the bigger picture implications of the technology and the exploration of what is at stake for organizations trying to change not only tools, but also culture and process.

March Communications is the official PR sponsor of the event and we’ll be on-site throughout the week scoping out the keynotes and panel sessions.  If you’re attending the show and would like to meet up, give me a shout via Twitter.  I’m always up for a caffeine jolt at Starbucks.

  3. Can you share some of the things you learned at the conference or maybe interview some of the speakers and post the content?

  4. Hi Eric -

Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately I was unable to interview the speakers, but if you’re interested in speaking with a few of them, I can put you in touch with Natalia, PR Director of the event.

However, I did attend a panel led by Irwin Lazar of Nemertes Research where the panelists discussed the importance of video and its role in the future of communications. The buzz on this panel was of course the iPhone 4G and it’s enhanced video capabilities.

Here are some great pieces of coverage from the event that can provide some additional insight:
