On the Conference Wagon
As with most technology PR agencies in the U.S., we’ve been in trade show/conference mode for over a month now. Recently having kicked off the trade show season supporting four clients at RSA, just last week we were in full force at VoiceCon for our client Psytechnics.
Getting involved early in the process with a client is key to maximizing their investment in the trade show or conference. With Psytechnics, we developed a pre, during and post show strategy. Building up momentum with pre show press and analyst briefings around the launch of their Experience Manager 5 solution paid dividends with articles and blog posts appearing on the day of the announcement, also the first day of the show.
With a packed schedule of at show briefings focusing on Experience Manager 5 demos, Psytechnics worked with many outlets including Telecom Reseller to develop pod and video casts highlighting the solutions’ clean, user friendly interface.
Peter Brockmann of Brockmann & Co., an analyst who we briefed last Friday before VoiceCon, also posted an article. He really gets at the main points and features, saying at the end: No doubt, quality of experience will be the new mantra for differentiating one service provider from another. Psytechnics will be a major element of that differentiation for many leading carriers, managed service providers and large IT operations. It’s also great that he links back to the Psytechnics site, which will generate more visits, and mentions many of Psytechnics’ partners.
Since VoiceCon, the team has already briefed three additional influencers and has a line up of others throughout April.
Important to our strategy is tracking the outcome of the outputs. More on that subject in another blog post.
