A Tideway Fix
Yesterday our client Tideway was featured in the Wall Street Journal. While any placement in the Journal is great, this one was particularly rewarding it that it profiled Tideway’s CEO and Chairman Richard Muirhead – and Richard alone.
The column, Fast Fixes, profiles entrepreneurs who think outside the box to solve a routine problem or a major obstacle in his or her business. When enterprise software buying habits shifted, Richard undertook a dramatic new business model, offering an unlimited, free edition of the company’s software. Competing against software giants like HP and IBM, this free version distinguishes them as a company that’s so confident in their product, they’re willing to let companies try it for free before deciding if they want to spend their hard earned money. Luckily for Tideway, it’s paying off.
